We have had several meetups in certain cities and they seem to be going great.

What we need now is stronger presence across India. Once we get a meetup environment in place, we can focus on several activities together.

One of the platforms that we have used extensively is meetup.com. This platform has hosted:

The Bangalore Bitcoin Creativity Crew
Bangalore Bitcoin
Bombay Bitcoin
Chennai Bitcoin
Bitcoin in Delhi

We started with 4 people in the Bangalore Bitcoin group for our first meetup. There are over 750 people involved in the meetups across all groups at the moment.

This thread is a callout to anyone who wants to start a group in their city. We can provide some awesome guidance and help with publicity, etc.

We can also use aBitsocial.com which has a fantastic platform to run events on.

It starts  small.
