I'm currently writing a new article for my blog, and need some user input, what do you prefer doing with your cryptocurrencies?

http://strawpoll.me/1023369

Please vote so I can take a screenshot of the pie chart once the article is ready to be published.
If you do other things with your crypocurrencies, please do tell in a reply so I can add alternatives to the article!

Gambling is for the weak, it's for those who like to make quick profit. I'd only invest.

When investing, do you prefer to sell at certain intervals, or just as needed?
Or do you hold until you see potential in another coin and invest into it and resell for quick gains?

I:
1. invest in all sorts of bitcoin companies
2. invest in gambling sites (they offer brilliant returns, you just have to watch them, but you have to watch the non gambling securities too)
3. Hold i have seen enough sites fold to occasionally put on a tin foil hat and hoard some bitcoin in offline paper wallets.
4. I never gamble, too worried i'll become addicted and loss my investments.

Isn't investing just an educated gamble anyway?

Surely investing is a gamble? Sure, you can make educated predictions and guesses, but you can do that with sports and other bets too.

Over a long enough timeline, the profitability rate of everything drops to zero.  Cheesy

Saying that, I invest and gamble. For me I love the risk of gambling and the short monetary gains are handy.

Investing is all about the long game. Little something for retirement, I hope!

Thank you all for the info.

As for long term investing, what if it peaks and you miss your chance to sell?
Do you continue holding in hopes it gets to a high point again?
When exactly do you know when to sell?

All investing is gambling, anyone that claims otherwise is a fool.
Some investments just have much higher risk than others.
