Windows 7 or Windows 8?? Any experiences?

I am planning to build a scrypt miner with AMD R9 280s or 270s.

I am trying to decide between win7 and win8. Someone reported better "efficiency" with win8 on his blog while I read elsewhere that there is much difference.

Any experiences? thoughts?

windows 8 can do 6 cards/mobo...win7 only 5 cards ,but I prefer win7.. the cards run the same speeds on both os
