Newegg's customer service is awful these days.  It looks like their ability to do some basic research on what their customers are using their purchases for is just as bad.

AMD actually started listing mining as a feature on their own product pages back when it was relevantish.

Yup, back when the 7xxx cards came out. And they didn't specify "bitcoin", they only stated that they are good for mining, wich is a wise move, because they are good at bitcoin mining (ye well before asics) but they are also good at litecoin (scrypt algorithm) mining

I wonder if people still hold the mentality that "miners are just a small flash in the pan" when it comes to GPU sales.
