Hi all, just getting started here from Canada.

Does anyone have any good resources for reading up on BTC exchanges? Also, is still worth it to mine BTC? That might be interesting.

Only way to mine BTC is with mining hardware called ASIC. There isn't much to read up on, they're just exchanges where you exchange coins. Check out the threads here and the exchanges website. The BTCwiki probably also hold some info on this.
