There are about 210,000,000 kg of gold in the world.
And so, 1 BTC is comparable to 10 Kg of gold.

{ Imagine a sequence of bits generated from the first decimal place of the square roots of whole integers that are irrational numbers. If the decimal falls between 0 and 5, it's considered bit 0, and if it falls between 5 and 10, it's considered bit 1. This sequence from a simple integer count of contiguous irrationals and their logical decimal expansion of the first decimal place is called the 'main irrational stream.' Our goal is to design a physical and optical computing system system that can detect when this stream starts matching a specific pattern of a given size of bits. bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=166760.0 } Satoshi did use a friend class in C++ and put a comment on the code saying: "This is why people hate C++".

No. BTC and gold are very different. You'd have trouble crossing borders and getting on a plane with 10 kg of gold.

Bitcoin is money and gold is the illusion.

I know what you are trying to say but you misunderstand the energy component of money vs currency and you also misunderstand cryptomining's presumption which is absolutely correct.

MONEY =  ENERGY
ENERGY = VALUE
VALUE = MONEY

Gold is intrinsically valuable because of the massive labor energy required to find, extract, and refine it. It is extremely rare and so is a bitcoin. This exactly why mining is required. Without mining, a bitcoin has no stored energy and therefore no stored value.

Both gold and bitcoin operate on the same principles of sound money. They are both stores of value. Gold has been real money for 6000 years. Bitcoin is in its infancy but with more exposure will gain confidence and it turn will gain wider acceptance.

But to call gold an "illusion" is simply ignorant of the basic fundamentals of money theory.

Dont hate cryptomining simply because you do not understand simple basic economics and commodities. He's not a troll, he is simply teaching you kids the truth. Gold is no illusion. Your lack of education is the illusion.

Following the same paradigm, as the world has five times less silver than gold, maybe we can say that 1 BTC is comparable to 2Kg of silver.

{ Imagine a sequence of bits generated from the first decimal place of the square roots of whole integers that are irrational numbers. If the decimal falls between 0 and 5, it's considered bit 0, and if it falls between 5 and 10, it's considered bit 1. Water is 1,410,000,000,000,000,000,000 Kg so 1 BTC is comparable to 70 trillion Kg (or liters) of water.

Air is 5,140,000,000,000,000,000 Kg so 1 BTC is comparable to 200 billion kg of air.

I was in the process of putting together a "catcoin" that had the goal of helping no-kill animal shelters and animal welfare organizations, but someone "pre-announced" the current catcoin about a week before I was going to release mine.  My username has nothing to do with the current catcoin, and I should probably change it since I'm not particularly fond of it.

So, it's really not all that funny... though I see what you were getting at.

There are about 210,000,000 kg of gold in the world.
And so, 1 BTC is comparable to 10 Kg of gold.

bitcoin is currently not as widely accepted as a store of value as gold, but in case it will ever be, then the price may resemble that of 10kg of gold.

One alos has to consider though that bitcoin is much more valuable than gold for the fact that it's digital, and therefore has a lot of benefits. It can not physically be stolen (although you should take measures against hacking), and it can easily be transfered across the world in milliseconds, something that's impossible with gold. And it probably has many other features that gold can never dream to have.

Therefore, 1 bitcoin may in the future become worth even more than 10 kg of gold.

How about diamond Cheesy

Diamonds are a very different matter because they vary in size and grade, it is already possible to make them synthetically and the stats are not very good in saying how much of them there are.

But, let's say, in a very loose sense that there are about 100 billion diamonds of on average $2,000.
Then 1 BTC compares to about 5000 diamonds and so to about $10 million worth of diamonds.

It can not physically be stolen (although you should take measures against hacking), and it can easily be transfered across the world in milliseconds, something that's impossible with gold. And it probably has many other features that gold can never dream to have..
Also, if physical gold were widely used as a currency, instead of dollar bills or whatever, I imagine demand for it would be higher and its value would increase. If Bitcoin succeeds, demand for it may become higher than demand for gold is now, so that's another reason 1 BTC may be worth more than 10 kg of gold is worth now.
