Hi,

I know there are several ASIC vendors out there, and the profitability of doing bitcoin mining this 2014 is at least uncertain.
However there are few of us who have decided to try mining this 2014.

Although I post mostly in KNC Miner forums (I currently mine with Jupiters and I am waiting for the new Neptunes),
I wanted to share a link to a thread in KNC Forum about a USD 500.00 rebate when buying a Neptune. I think fellow miners will reach ROI a bit faster by getting their Neptune $500 cheaper.

Cheers!

Yep, says

"Invalid Page URL. If this is an error and the page should exist, please contact the system administrator and tell them how you got this message."

for me, even logged in. Was this for existing orders as well? They're sold out of B2 already.

I saw your post on forum.kncminer.com when it was active. You are simply earning commission on their affiliate program. I would suggest being honest about that when you post stuff like this. Nobody likes to be mislead. The way the forums are these days with 49% spammers and scammers, it's really easy to get the wrong idea. Your post is, at least, misleading. Please just be upfront about stuff... I don't think anyone cares that you want to earn a little extra cash, but they do care that you're being kind of shady.

My mistake. I should have said "my thread" rather than simply referring to "a thread". Apologies for my misleading statement.

Considering that most people who has purchased KNC hardware (myself included) have used a reseller's id without knowing it
(100% of banners and googleAds about KNC are paid by resellers), I do think it is a good deal for the buyer to share part of the reseller's income (plain rebate), rather than letting the reseller keep all for themselves.
To avoid any misunderstanding, the link to my own temporal site is in my signature below (my permanent domain is right now under construction).
There are still 170 Neptunes left (18.01.2014).

I stopped posting there about my offer since they deleted my post 2 weeks ago. The thread you are linking there is from December.

Yes, they pay with miners. If you sell 9 miners, they pay you 0. Only if you sell 10 you get 1. Because I mine myself, the deal is good enough for me. It is just like getting a new miner for cheaper (or losing money if I don't get to sell 10).

That's a raw deal

Won't you lose out on your instant payments?

That's a raw deal

Won't you lose out on your instant payments?

Because I already got 1 Neptune (10 sales), then if I sell 9 more Neptunes with instant rebates, I will get only 1 Neptune (19 sales does not qualify for 2 Neptunes). That means that I spend $500 * 19 = US$ 9 500.00 for that Neptune. Then it is not a good deal (Neptune price is $9.995), but I am not losing money.

If I would have made only 9 sales, that would have hurt bad. Losing time and $4500 and not getting anything in return.

The problem with my rebate is that I can only advertise it in free forums. If I would pay $5000 to GoogleAds, then I wouldn't be able to offer that kind of rebate. Anyway, it is only an experiment. My main thing is the bitcoin mining. I have purchased (with my money) few Jupiters and I am waiting 3 Neptunes from the first batch. Any extra income from reselling is welcome.

Sure. The 2nd batch is almost sold out (maybe 3 more days), but we can talk in few weeks when KNC starts preparing for selling a next batch. Signatures are not expensive and is targeted advertisement.

Do not buy an ASIC.  You will lose money.  Mine Scrypt coins instead.

Thanks for the advice.
Scrypt is very hot topic lately, then most likely many companies are rushing to get something more powerful than GPU. Once I see that in the market I will jump immediately. I don't want to buy GPU now and throw it to trashes when the first asic for scrypt is out.
