Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

I forgot to join, will get to it.

So far the top alternate communities for Bitcoin

http://reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/
http://bitcoin.org.uk/forums/
http://www.anoncoin.org/

And now
http://www.bitcoinforums.net/

Any more?

I know Vlad has someone doing some SEO work for him, is everyone else doing some bullshit backlinking on the term "Bitcoin Forums" for your sites?  If not, get on it.   Download a program called XRumor, grab some forum lists, have a ball, no one seems to be trying to pull rank for this term and I'm surprised a Black Hat hasn't jumped all over it just to abuse that term that is directed linked from Bitcoin.org

i seem to find a lot of new sites purely by guessing domain names... bitcoinboard.com seemed an obvious guess and viola! there's a board there... nothing happening yet though.
