To be fair to stevelam, "The Coin Rapist" as some like to call him it seems, if you saw this topic when it was posted and started mining, it wasn't hard to get blocks. Heck, I have 80K with a single R9 280x

Quark is a CPU mined coin, wtf does your video card have to do with it?

Now it's 21st century man, don't be like a fool before researching ...

There are lots of posts about 4% premine not being fair. You can be right. It depends fully on whats the purpose of the premine.

Since this is the part that seems to be the subject of most criticism, I'll add my two cents in.

If the idea would be for developer team to keep the premined coins themselves, that would truly be unfair. Our reason for premining is not to make some buck, it is to grow steady support and to share those coins. They will go purely to make FairQuark popular and known. For this reason we have openly linked our wallet address for everyone to look at (which actually might not even include whole sum yet today).

How can you know we will use all those coins as promies in near future? You cannot. There are no guarantees anyone can give for our future actions but we do have great plans. If community lets and helps FairQuark to prosper, there are even companies that will start accepting FRQ (we have promises from some companies already).

Besides companies that would accept FRQ as payment method, there are other plans for different kind of services too. Sure games and trading is nice but they cannot be whole purpose of virtual currency. Some of the plans are for long term development, some plans come true faster. We don't want FairQuark to be just another pump and dump coin. There are plenty of those.

Roadmap will be published in couple of days.

1.31MH/s

You lose some of your coins using smelter, but worth it for the hashing power.

I just tested and at least mine.fairquark.com:8372 seems to work fine. I'll try others too, but it also might just feel laggy because of huge hashrate on the network. It will stabilize.

I like how FairQuark has a 4% premine and Quark had 0% premine.

So this is more FAIR just because you were too stupid not to mine Quark?Huh  Retards!
