buying mobo/cpu off ebay

Trying to build a budget rig. Is buying below on ebay a bad idea?

as long as the quality of the hardware is good, it's not a bad idea, unfortunately if buying goods in online stores that we can't check before buying only rely on the value that the "seller trust" and just ask for a guarantee from the seller of goods

Hey, i know this is not the place for trading but I actually just dismantled one of my rigs - removed the GPUs and PSUs so I have the frame with all other components left. Here's the config:

Open Aluminum Frame
Mobo: Asus Z270-P
Processor: Celeron 3900
RAM: 4GB DDR
64GB SSD - with Windows 10 installed, all settings adjusted for mining and drivers installed
8 Risers installed
Also has a connector for 2 PSUs installed

The system was built end of Jan. I don't have any use for this config so I'm fine selling for around 80% of retail cost, say $280 ? Let me know if interested and I'll take pictures when I get home and send them over.

Personally I have bought both, motherboard and cpu on ebay and wasn't dissappinted. To my mind buying those items on ebay is ok especially when they aren't pricey but new ones aren't expensive on newegg too.
Don't buy GPUs, especially models massively used in mining, there is high chance that will be used in mining and worked on high hashrate/overclocking.
P.S See sellers rating and reviews of product, how much he sold, if he accepts returns and etc.

Newegg/Amazon are essentially as competitive as ebay and you have recourse options. If the seller has a good rating you are probably safe though.

Check in your local market mate. If you able to get the already built rig means that would be more easily to start mining bro. However,  the above mentioned cards and other products are enough to start mine the algorithm crypto night or daggerhashimoto.
Get the PSU according to number of cards you gonna add towards it mate.
Because if you add the more number of cards than the allotted number for the PSU you see the heat issue do check on it accordingly.

having bought and sold its usually the seller who comes off worse as ebay always sides with the buyer for electricals even if you sent a working component and you suspect the buyer fried it, they just have to say it didn't work and ebay takes the money from your account.

I haven't had a problem buying other than 1 gpu was a bit of a dog speed wise (gigabyte) but it worked reasonably so couldn't complain
