Looks like I'm about 2 years behind, but I'm about to invest $3-$5k in scrypt mining hardware sometime next month. With my current setup, I'm only able to maintain about 1MH/s using 3 HTPC/gaming machines and one dedicated, all running 550Ti or 650Ti. At the time, NVIDIA was a better option for HTPC use (of course, it's all relative to what you consider "better"). It's a shame they don't perform for mining. Wish I had gone with AMD.

I'm hoping to build up to 8 (4 GPU) rigs this year unless ASIC's make there show. I'll be adding a dedicated 240V 50A panel for future expansion. I figure I'll reinvest 80% of earnings each month on new hardware and 20% out-of-pocket. I've never been a gambler, but this has been tons of fun. Wish I had latched on in 2012 or 2013. If it all goes down in flames, at least I'll have some backup HTPC cards Smiley Just hoping that an ASIC boom holds off until next year.

This forum has been tremendously helpful, so, I figured I'd officially join in the fun.
