Bitstamp recalled my USD withdrawal !?

My banker just called me, and I was told that the wire transfer withdrawal from Bitstamp, credited to my account 2 days ago, was recalled by the remitter. And I was asked to sign an approval notice so that they can debit my account and wire the money back to Bitstamp.

Now I'm really confused. Why would Bitstamp come after my money? Has this ever happened to any of you guys?
