I would like to find a nice home for my faithful Sapphire 5850.  He's been very good to me in the month or so that I've had him, but since I got a new 5970 I don't have any place for him to live.  He's really really fast (416-420 MH/s), doesn't eat much (right around 170W under load), and you can pets him.  Looks brand new with hardly any dust build up at all, and comes with the original box/dox in perfect condition.

$160 worth of BTC shipped anywhere in the US.

I will post pics when I get home later tonight.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Will you take paypal for it? I'm tempted, but refuse to spend or sell BTC at the current rates.

My Paypal account got banned, but I have access to Amazon Payments which I can probably do.

Damn, I probably shouldn't be buying right now since I have 2 cards coming back from RMA, but I really want one that can get over 400MH/s.. can't seem to get any of my 5850s over 390 stable.

What's the shipping like between US/Canada?  You just sent my friend an SSD last week, no?

start phoenix.exe -u http://**************@deepbit.net:8332/ -k phatk DEVICE=0 VECTORS BFI_INT FASTLOOP=false WORKSIZE=256 AGGRESSION=11

phatk 2.2

I have 1 5850 that will run 390MH/s @ 940 core/333 ram and another one doing 325MH/s at 788 core/300 ram, but I think that one is being limited by the 430W power supply. Out of the other 2 coming back from RMA (straight from ebay to RMA, hah) one would overheat and thermal throttle, but did get 400MH/s for a few seconds, and the other one had a bad fan so I didn't test it other than for POST.

Oh I think I see your problem.  Try VECTORS2 instead of VECTORS.

Edit: And this Sapphire 5850 will clock to 1000MHz easily.  Probably higher but I was afraid to push it, even though temps were still under 68C.

Nope, that dropped the 390 one down to 340...

Hmm weird. Phoenix 1.50?  Did you mod your kernel.cl file?

Quote
You can go to phatk's kernel.cl file (don't worry, it just sits there in the open, no need to recompile anything), find this line
  #define Ma(x, y, z) amd_bytealign((y), (x | z), (z & x))
and change it to this line
  #define Ma(x, y, z) amd_bytealign( (z^x), (y), (x) )
Once you've done it, restart the miner.

Yep, its already changed.

I'm pretty sure its just a clock speed thing, if I bump the clock to 1GHz for a few seconds, it'll do 400+, but then I get a BSOD a few seconds later. I'll stop hijacking your sale thread now.

No worries.  We're talking about 5850s here Smiley  This one I'm selling will run at 1000MHz 24/7 with no problems.
