[ANN] sgminer - scrypt gpu miner - public test version released

First public test release (source only) is now available:

http://sgminer.org/archives/sgminer-0.1.3.tar.bz2

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Nice! Bout time someone picked that up. I wish I knew how to code myself I'd of probably started messing with it myself. Good luck, can't wait to see how it goes!

I am mining with the latest BFGminer 3.9.0 and it mines just as well as CGminer and they do support GPU and scrybt mining , I am mining on ubuntu , but you can mine on windows also with bfgminer

Works fine for me! Hashrate seems to be same as with cgminer.

It compiled for me without any problems (Xubuntu 13.10, ADL 6.0, APP SDK 2.9).
I don't see any improvements though. It still crashes during graceful exit and the performance is obviously the same.
I see you increased the intensity limit which is handy but nothing new.
I am looking forward to future improvements. Wink
