I'm actively working on becoming a 1 dan in Go. This is my first goal. I'm seeking out mid to high dan or even professional level players for tutoring. If anyone here is that strong and feels like they might be a good enough teacher to train me to 1 dan, please let me know. I'm just hit 5k on KGS but I'm thinking I'll do well enough to get to 4k fairly soon. Thanks!

It's the same game, yes, if that is your question. I play at the level of 13 kyu so am not a strong player at all. I was also aiming at becoming 1 Dan, then (funnily enough) I got sidetracked by becoming interested in bitcoins a few months ago and dropped Go for the time being.
