Can you remember the old MasterMind game http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mastermind_%28board_game%29?
Let's play it!

I've chosen a 5 digit number. Each digit can be any number from 0 to 9.

You can try to guess it posting your number in this thread.
For each post you must pay 0.001 BTC (1 mBTC) to the pot: 13sM3gEspG6ceqbHvmwcwjmeAPQB4X6unN and specify your BTC address in your post so I can verify the sender.
No PM allowed, no posts without payment allowed.

I'll respond publicly in this thread with number of "blacks" and number of "whites".

Who guesses the number gets 95% of the pot.
Deadline for the game is 1 february 2014 00:00:00 UTC.
If deadline is reached and no one guessed it, best guess takes 50% of the pot.

To ensure I'm not cheating, this is the SHA512 of a text containing the number: 29bb1a31f3e61a30617b0c3b943f50175faad0c4fd726b5ec2ad5578bf8723e0857ec4536e3ca2a 3613dd750893f8faaa832b9704686e34857d0381ef65c8f7a
Don't lose your time trying to decode it: it's too hard! Smiley
When my number is guessed or deadline is reached I'll reveal the text.

Let's have fun!

I don't think anybody will want to go first... just putting it out there.

The signature campaign posters adding useless redundant fluff to their posts to reach their minimum word count are lowering my IQ.

So you want people fund the pot, and you'll make profit on it ?

So you want people fund the pot, and you'll make profit on it ?

This is a "just for fun" game:
Only bets of 0.001 Btc allowed.
The number can be guessed in about 10-15 bets.
No one will make big profit out of it.

I enojed very much MasterMind when I was a child... hope that someone else does.

5 digit ? Total possible number can make from 5 digit more than 100 hundred right

Did you ever played it?

It is an ability game, not a chance game.
Every bet excludes many thousands of possibilities.

Link in OP contains the algorithm for guessing...

How can it be "for fun" if players have to pay for it and you're making a profit?

No big win, no big profit in any case.

But if you really just did it for fun, you should pay out 100% of the pot, fund the pot yourself or play without a pot.
