ATI and NVIDIA same mobo LTC mining

i7-4930k
64GB RAM
SabertoothX79
SSD 250 Samsung evo
GTX 660 3GB
Windows7

This build is already running 24/7 with 90%+ CPU usage and 60%+ GPU usage (not mining).
I want to add up to two 7950s to my build to mine some LTC since it is running 24/7 and it has some spare RAM and CPU (not much). Is it possible?

Cgminer should use almost no CPU and very little RAM.
It should be possible to mix ATI and NVIDIA cards, but im not sure how it will turn out when both are working heavy on different tasks, if it will hurt the overall performance or bring a lot of instability thus not being worthed, etc.

Any advice?

Before I started mining, I bought a GTX670 because of it's gaming performance and efficiency at the time. I have purchased some ATI cards to do mining, and will attempt to toss one in this box. My reasoning- when using the PC, it's hard to watch any video when mining. If I can opt to not mine on the Nvidia card (which would be driving my display) while mining on the ATI cards, that would seem to be a good compromise. Once my card arrives, I will update this thread unless someone else can post their own experiences first.

The build is already doing heavy virtualization, just the new 7950s would be mining, im interested in them consuming very little CPU.

Ignore the 7950's, unless you're getting them for $250 or so. Pick 2 280x cards
