Hi, I just gave away 15*5mBTC to friends and family. I think a great way to have people who are interested to get to know Bitcoin. I used the Blockchain.info wallet where you can send to an email address. What do you think?

I agree, that's one of the best ways to introduce people to Bitcoin. Hopefully they like it and start reading up on it.

Another option is you can store in paper wallet and give to them
