[ANN] Launch: TeslaCoin [TSLA] 1st Coin on Top of iXcoin's Ultra Secure Network

Announcing the Launch of TeslaCoin.

iXcoin is adding Native - C o l o r e d - Coins to its code, and TeslaCoin will be the first to ride on top of iXcoin's ultra secure network.


TeslaCoin code is being finalized - there will be a 3 day heads-up prior to launch.  

No sneak launches here.

This will be SHA256.  That's not gonna be popular but let's face it, we'd all rather merge mine BTC, LTC and another 100 coins using the same hardware and electricity costs rather than 1 coin like any scrypt coin.

SHA256 and ASICS are the future - so TeslaCoin will me merge mined, although not a initial launch as to five averting a fair chance to accumulate it.

This would be an excellent proof of concept.

Start thinking of applications.

(1) Reservation of access to a leased vehicle.   A smart property is created that can unlock the parked car at a certain time (see: zipcar). 

(2) Electric charge credits.   Issue credits to use Supercharger network.

(3) Generate solar power and earn credits for supercharger network.

Few days.  Trying to write the code in such a way that it will be easy to adapt to iXcoin's colored coin update later on. 

This will be Sha256.  I know that's not popular but merge mining and high hash rate network security is the future.

Don't make a scamcoin.

Get an existing working coloured coin client and make a coloured coin.

It does not much matter what blockchain it rides on so long as it is a massively secure blockchain such as BiTCoin, NaMeCoin, DeVCoin or IXCoin. Even I0Coin is maybe too low hashrate to be worth considering for such a critical application at this time until more merged mining pools include it in their merge.

Since you seem to be too much hurry to bother doing it right, just use the existing client don't bother screwing around with changing it to some other chain unless the chain it currenrly uses is not a secure one. I expect likely the chain currently used though is bitcoin itself which is the most secure of all.

Oh no, not a giant 2% premine which is long gone along with its dev.

Take a look around, some of the most popular alt coins have premines so time to come out of the dark ages and realize that devs in fact work for money and iXcoin was hence never a scam.

What a massive blown opportunity.  I was stupid for waiting so long.  I have another 200 coin domains To go through but none this perfect for what I had in mind.

Cause it looks like they're calling it The Tesla but on their site they're calling it TeslaCoin so it looks like the name is taken which means this launch is DONE!

Nobody has "dibs". You'll have to use a different ticker to differentiate it. TES. TSL, TSA, whatever. There are two NyanCat coins. Coin names aren't like domains. You can have more than one with the same name. I don't think a crapcoin is going to much of a thorn in your side.

Put it this way. If you launched first, do you think anyone would hesitate in copying the name?

If you're going with coloured coins you could try something a bit more flamboyant. Like Wavelength, Spectrum, Prism. Something like that.

You didn't bother to properly sew up domain names is part of the problem.

You should have at the least grabbed the .com, .net and .org of Teslas, TeslaCoin and TeslaCoins even if you could not get Tesla itself.

Maybe TeslasCoin and TeslasCoins also.

Maybe go more-generic... Did anyone grab autocoin and autocoins yet?

Maybe Vehicoin and Vehicoins and VehicleCoin and Vehiclecoins and CabCoin and Cabcoins and such?
