But personally, I'm hoarding NVC, due to seeing that a relative handful of BTC would drive it's price through the roof.

Dogecoin is emerging from the pack so to speak lol Seriously though, it's gaining major traction on 4chan and Reddit. Those two places alone have particularly inventive and determined userbases. Understimate them at your peril.

Do you guys worry that all of these alternative coins will devalue bitcoins? Or at least become completely worthless?

Peercoin - the Peercoin network consumes far less energy and pure PoS Coin > Colossuscoin > far less energy

Looks like DOGE is holding strong. Sadly, MOONCOIN doesn't seem to be have a chance to recover.

Take a look at interesting new, not much popular sha-256 altcoins: stackedcoin, emercoin and mediterraneancoin (hybrid CPU & ASIC mining).

Currently having good results with a mixture of:
DogeCoin TagCoin LottoCoin 42 ... but should have gotten into 42 during it's initial run up, that seems to be fizzling out now; it's value seems to be consistently dropping on Cryptsy
Cheers!!

Tagcoin seems to be as profitable as DOGE right now. That will probably change though.

KittehCoin seems to be good at the moment at a loff diff of 1.67 so I'll be mining that.
I've set my 1st rig to Kittehcoin and still using my shared rig to mine WDC which still seems to be the most forward thinking alt-coin at the moment!
Not sure what the long game plan is, to keep WDC or to get those WDC into BTC eventually?
