FAQ:
  • What is Advertisingcoin?
Advertisingcoin is a peer-to-peer Internet currency that enables instant payments to anyone in the world.
  • What is advertising-mining Mode?
A new project will be published. It is a website. By prepaying advertisingcoins, advertisers will be able to publish pay-per-click ads. In the meanwhile, not only could guests earn advertisingoins by visiting attractive ads that they are interested in, but also they could share the information with social media by using the socialized share button.
More importantly, this will be a open source project which means website masters can build their own 'Earn ATCs By Clicking Ad' web pages free of charge.
We will be constructing a network union and having them integrated into advertisingcoin wallet as well.
It is called advertising-mining mode.

Is anyone else actually mining this coin? I put my CPUs onto it over the weekend and have managed to get 1k worth of them, but im wondering if its worth looking for another cpu coin or just leave them mining this one.

peoples thoughts would be great

(Supposedly there was a pre-mine on this coin - although im not sure how much it was, so I still consider it a gamble mine :-) )

I mined it for a whole day and only got 40 coins on a 8 core system using the Wallet to mine.

What were you using for 1000 ? and what miner were you using.

I think this has great potential but not much info out there on it... pitty..

It was a combination of 8 cores on 1 Xeon machine, 4 Cores on another Xeon machine (both are servers with 24GB ram and 16GB ram respectively)

the 2 cores from an old Dell box (2GB Ram)

4 Cores from my home desktop (8Gb Ram)

(Rough numbers)
i picked up about 400 coins on my home machine.

100 On the old dell box.

300 on the 8Core Xeon

200 on the 4core Xeon.

since monday morning though I have only been running the old Dell and Home machine and have only found 80 coins. (the servers are based at work so cant really use those during the week.)

Im sure the moment this coin hits an exchange (if it does) then the Digital Cloud miners will jump on the bandwagon and the difficulty will climb (its currently just under 7 )  So im really hoping it does (my inital 200xpm when it first launched really kick started my BTC total :-) )

It goes to show it really is all luck,

anybody got the wallet to sync? windows wallet will just crash if I add nodes to the config file ... !?

I found the same thing so i removed all txt except the addnodes that can be found on the website and it works using the setgenerate true -1 in debug mode.

I also only put the text from the website, with and without the "add" at the end. tried alot, still exception. If I remove the addnode entries wallet starts - but no sync

Can I set nodes from the debug console?

addnode <node> <add|remove|onetry>
