Hey all we appreciate everyone who has used CryptoALTeX as an exchange for KRN.  We hope everyone has a great experience and begins to arbitrage with the other exchanges that have picked up KRN.

We would like to announce a new feature that will hopefully drive traffic to our site and bring more trades for the coins we have listed there including KRN.

Want your favorite coin listed?

Want your coin added? Please enter a ticket at https://cryptoaltex.freshdesk.com with some information about your coin and we will generate a deposit address and place your coin into the donation pot which will allow your coin to earn chances, details below.

Donate .001BTC to your coins address listed on our site and you will be giving your coin a "Chance" at being listed. The coin with the most chances after 3 days will automatically be listed on our site. The remaining coins that have a minimum of 50 chances will have their chances entered into a random selection which we will live stream and record. The coin that wins, will be listed. All unselected chances will roll over to the next drawing.

CryptoALTeX reserves the right to list any coin at anytime regardless of the drawing. Any coin listed for trading on CryptoALTeX that is already part of the drawing will have its chances removed from the drawing. In the event CryptoALTeX decides to list the top two coins of the week, the other coins will still have a random drawing.

I read that article a few days ago.  I wasnt suggesting we should lobby to get listed on every exchange.  Just think we need to spread awareness of the coin.

Now please support the network by spreading the hashrate of Ekrona (shouldn't all be mining on one single pool).
I've put around 10 MH/s on this p2pool to get it started properly and I'd like you to join and have your share of it!

Why should you use a P2Pool? It's a more secure way of mining cryptocurrencies. The block generation code implements the addresses of each miner and pays directly towards your walletaddress instead of a central wallet on the pool server. Thievery is impossible because of that. Further more, it actually includes YOU as the miners in the currency's network and is way more fun than a simple MPOS pool.

We should change the title of this thread to focus on having no pre-mine (compared to large pre-mines by Maza, AUR, and SPA) and limited quantity, eliminating the stuff about Vikings?  I doubt many investors know or care about that.

Finding a way to distinguish ourselves from the other coins is key.  Having no pre-mine is the way to do it.

I agree! But the think with vikings is just a slogan for fun I guess.

The fins are on the Euro so it's a little confusing grouping them into the Scan EKRONA group but cutting off Iceland, I'm guessing because of Aurora?

This is true. The Finnish people did not get to vote if they were to accept euro. The parliament consisting of 200 members has them self stated that they knew better then the Finnish people if they want euro or not, which is rather funny considering that such an change should be voted on. This has been a major backfire in Finland and many regret the decision and there has even been a lot of talk about jumping off the euro-train.

In a way this is good news, in another it's not. This will just attract the god damn whales but on the bright side it might get listed on cryptowarz. We really need some publicity and shops that accept ekrona as an payment. That will bring this coin the value it deserves. We at least need that one pizza guy every other alt coin has had. Who is willing to go out for a hunt? Should we set up a wallet for the bounties? Who is in on that?
