As of this morning, this paper wallet design is available at https://bitcoinpaperwallet.com

If you want perfectly sized envelopes try to find ones approximately 15cm x 8cm (6" x 3").

Quote
In Chinese and other Asian societies, a red envelope or red packet is a monetary gift which is given during holidays or special occasions. It is known as hóngbāo in Mandarin, angbao in Taiwanese (also Singaporean Hokkien), angpau in Min Nan and lai see (利市/利是) in Cantonese.

Are you talking about giving away the red envelope? It is during Chinese New Year, or your birthday or during weddings.

Year-round. You just pick it from the same dropdown where you'd select a different language (e.g. spanish, french, russian, whatever.) There's also a christmas/new years design in there.

I don't see an English version.

The red envelope version is only available in Chinese.

For the standard english / french / german / russian / spanish / italian / etc. design go to:

http://bitcoinpaperwallet.com/bitcoinpaperwallet/generate-wallet.html

And use the dropdown to select your language.

i meant the wallet design not the envelope. i hadn't used the site before, wasn't sure how things work there.

When I saw "Chinese New Year is Friday Jan 31" I though this was going to be some thread about how the  Chinese Government is shutting down bitcoin on that day, apparently not Wink

Lovely design but the juxtaposition is still "interesting"

If there's any connection at all, there's this: I have a feeling there may be a significant number of Chinese who are holding onto bitcoins they can't convert back into fiat... maybe a good idea to give them all away as gifts! Smiley

lol, yes, nice thought ..... though I don't think Chinese people are just going to give their bitcoins away because the Chinese government are stopping their citizens converting to fiat inside China. Luckily both bitcoins and Chinese people can travel round the globe Wink
