Hi Everyone,

it seems that i cant get my xfx hd7970 hashing faster than 540 kh/s. I bought that card long time ago and it wasn't meant to be used for mining.
However why wouldn't it mine like the omes shown at lite coin hw comparison list?

regards

It looks like you're close to it's max. I am still a newbie here so I am just taking a shot in the dark since nobody has answered this post yet. But have you tried to update your drivers? Maybe that will help, anyways best of luck!

Someone has had success with those after undervolting. You must extract, mod and flash it's bios though

If you have already tried many core/memory clock combinations, try flashing another BIOS. Going from an old bios on my Gigabyte7970 to the newest one increased my hashrate from 550 to 740kh.

Thanks for all the constructive replies!

I assume that it has to be the bios. The problem is to find a "working" or "better" bios.
