seeing as I'm on page one expressing sufficient interest, my interest is exponentially times your interest.

word of advise: if you dont want this coin to be ruled by the give away thread spammers, weight the giveaways by activity * average_post_length. Then do a quick check of their post history to make sure they pass the turing test.
okay... I leave it to you to design a fair distribution. If i do a ton of math to figure out how to weight it effectively for fair distribution (which i think i have a pretty good idea how to do) than i would need to know that there was some able programmer who was actually dedicated to keeping the code maintained. You don't need a programmer for this. All you need is the formula and a spreadsheet!

Hey frictionless, when is the genesis block? Shouldn't we go to the market as soon as possible ?
I reckon I can mine at least 100 bitcointalk.org accounts per day. Over a month that's 3000 accounts - 3k units of NEX - I'M RICH!! edit: are there any guys here from third world countries who would like to mine bitcointalk.org accounts for me? I pay top dollar!! I'm employing ASIC bitcointalk.org account creation mining 'units' NOW! whats the HASH on those ASIC/bitcointalkers?

Jokes aside, what about setting up a donation fund for developers, who actually will turn this into a serious project?
NEM accepts donation as in my signature. No thanks, you made enough from NXT already .

OP, who is going to generate your custom genesis and modify the NXT source to use it instead of BCNext's genesis?

You do like free stuff don't you? ... well so do we, so we're sure to get on like a house on fire Come on over and say G'day!! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=422139.0

I always like it when someone claims they are doing something for the benefit of others, when really it only benefits themselves.
If he was a true believer, he would support Nxt instead of wasting his time and others with his trivial clone. He is only doing this for his own financial gain. He is not interested in helping you. He is only doing this to help himself. He has to steal the words of others, because he doesn't have any beliefs of his own; except the belief that he should profit at the detriment of others.
If we expect to free ourselves from economic oppression, we must work together for a common purpose.
He may be able to copy code, but he can't copy motivations and intent.
