Hi, I have the Asus R9 280x DC2 and  I get 730Kh with this configuration:

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1

cgminer.exe --scrypt -o  stratum+tcp://xxxxxxx:3333 -u xxxxxxxx -p xxxxxxxx  -I 13 -g 2 -v 1 -w 256 --lookup-gap 2 --shaders 2048 --thread-concurrency 8192 --auto-fan --temp-cutoff 90 --temp-overheat 85 --temp-target 70  --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-engine 1060 --expiry 1 --scan-time 1 --queue 0 --no-submit-stale --failover-only

I can get more power?

Ty

Increase the --gpu-memclock to 1750 or 1800, then increase --gpu-engine accordingly.

Yes. Start at ~55% of the memory clock, for example --gpu-engine 950 and --gpu-memclock 1750.

Then on the cgminer window, press g, select and increase 10 Mhz on [e]ngine. Do this multiple times until the hashrate drops. Go back a bit and then use that value that gives you the best hashrate

Then do the same again, but using -I 20 -g 1 --thread-concurrency 24000

Ty

Its already very good that you get 730kh, if you push it further your temperature might hit 90-100c..

Yeah I would have to agree. I have the Gigabyte r9 280x and get 700-720Kh out but run at 76C-81C

I have R9 DC2T 3GD5's and they run at 755. Relevant settings are:
-I 13 -g2 -w256 --thread-concurrency 8192 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-engine 1085

NB: I haven't specified any higher lookup gap. Shaders are not necessary if you specify TC.

I have 3 of these cards and get about 755-760 khash with core set to 1092 but it varies try anything from 1080-1100 and keep mem at 1500.

On a side note I OC'd one to 1150 core and 1800 mem to get 800 khash but I couldn't keep it cool and was at 1.3V

everything below 80C is gold everything above 85C ist bad bad bad. The cooler your GPU the longer it lives but never run your fan at 100% because of damaging the fan engine.

add ---auto-fan --temp-target 77 --temp-cutoff 82
when you are overclocking you can set higher values but dont forget the 85C rule Smiley

I just got 3 of these and I set up one to test with and I can only get 670Kh. I am using Guiminer. I have never used cg miner and don't know where to start. I would love to get 700Kh.

I have my gpu clocked @1030 and memory at 1500 and GPU treads in guiminer @2
