In the wake of dramatic movement in the bitcoin prices and other digital currencies, US has launched a probe into the BTC price manipulation. this may actually cause some panic among investors who will then start selling more and postpone the "greed days" even more.

Weak hands are about to make a panic selling and that would resulted to more dropping of prices, that would make the smart traders and investors to make more money by buying more BTC. It is just a repeat of the events that always happening in the BTC trends.

It's running red due to the investigation declared yesterday and many weak hearts would be selling their btc which in turn creates more sell momentum and green days are little far away. In this market I see many people catch btc at very low prices and also see that they get some good positions and make some good profit and get out easily which is not for the long term investors

And why exactly normal bitcoin users/hodlers are panicking here? Feds are trying to get rid of scammers, bad actors and manipulators.
Isn't that right? Then why the price is now lower and people are selling - I don't get it - it should be totally otherwise.
Someone will explain to me what people are afraid here? More regulations? So what? It is to be expected in the long run.

The same process that brings about massive dumping of a coin also brings about massive increase which is mostly  the media. Its obvious that the end will soon come to red days and we will enjoy the bullish run. There is nothing to panick about.

Every market that exists is manipulated to some degree or another. I'm not sure any government organisation "investigating" will change much of anything for the better but whatever.

I don't think the bitcoin down trend is an effect of the recent investigation. It looks like it's simply pushing down towards its previous support level.

Whatever investigation that there is which will bring the green days back should be carried out immediately. I have already lost about 25% of my portfolio.This is no longer funny and these manipulations should be stooped and find a way to stop it.

The effect is very evident as the price really goes down very fast but the good thing is that it has somewhat recovered and hovering around $7500 because it went down as low as $7200-$7300 mark and you will notice that a lot of thread popping saying that bitcoin will go to $3K levels. Lol. Again, this is just short-lived and we will be back in the $8K levels after the dust have been settled.

Thanks for the great news. Actually, I was very tensed about my money, I know bitcoin price will increase in future but I really feel bad when bitcoin has down badly. I hope that news will come in true. Bitcoin needs to be stable at least in 10K USD.

I think the news is irrelevant. They are trying to find a needle in a haystack.
We all know whales are able to manipulate the prices, but that's happening all around the world. The us has a very limited authority and while it can put pressure on some exchanges, it can't pursue the manipulators all around the world. I'll be amazed if they manage to prosecute even one of them.

The fact is that beyond all the TAs and FAs, many are just merely guessing the movement of bitcoin. Sometimes what we see or hear is not exactly what it seems like. So maybe or maybe not the red days are over.

I'm positive thinking in my life down grade the price of bitcoin  are part of the decentralized volatile movement as currency some people if the price dumping in the market lower than 10percent are panicking which is not helpful because have possible to lose their investment, selling right away during the price is in the dip. hoping this coming month positively price uprise again and the red signal in the flow chart are the end.

I hope you are right, been waiting for btc and the total alts market to move up. This market has been suppressed and manipulated long enough. Though if we base market on organic growth, i think it will be slower than what people are used to seeing, but it's always better.

i do believe despite so many people that afraid and selling their coins , there is still many people that hold their coins and keep them cause they are believe bitcoin indeed bring usefullness in future. I do think bitcoin will touch 10k atleast.
