Our general supply chain method lacks transparency and its very complicated now. In the past the commerce was local and supply chain was plain simple Now the commerce is complex and so is supply chain and logistics industry. But can blockchain technology solve all this problem.
Whats your opinion, how can we merge blockchain with supply chain, logistics industry and how can it help.

though i have not thought it this way that our supply chain system will be covered under the blockchain technology. there is no doubt that transparency will be much more stronger with blockchain technology. let's see what's gonna coming for us.

There is an ongoing debate about this, we will wait for more experiments.
The first argument: open blockchain isn't suitable for this project because of the consensus algorithm built on top of it (PoW). Blockchain has a very specific use, and maybe only suitable for cryptocurrencies. Long story short, closed blockchain will fail.
The second argument: closed blockchain with special consensus algorithm (PoS or else) can be used in various projects, one of them is for a supply chain project.

In my opinion, the supply chain industry maybe needs a better database instead of using blockchain.

I like this things that's why i wants to connect worldwide logistic in my business. Nowadays peoples are invented tokens but personally i feel these are not necessary. I think there are many way to improve these tokens.

I think supply chain will be able to help, but it will depend on the mechanism and process created in the project. Blockchain just help and support, but the key is not in blockchain but in the project idea and concept.

Blockchain can be applied to supply chain and logistic management in the form of payment across the globe. Letter of credit, bank gurantee and method of payments has been one of the hurdles in the logistics. By creating a platform to augment, alternative currency for payments, and escrow for both buyer and seller is one example where blockchain  can be applied to supply chain.
