I could remember from 15 years ago seeing these names on the credit screen somewhere

Satoshi Ezaki is a programmer

Shinichi Nakamoto is a producer

though turns out they are both common Japanese names so appearing together might happen a lot

I only do that for movies sometimes... Especially if I have friends who worked on the film.

But for video games? It always felt less important.

Either way, Mario Party was a fun series.

I used to write video games 15 years ago. We didn't even have credit screens then. Just our name in the game manual. Not sure the OP is telling the whole truth here Wink

I remember the name Randy Shoemake (whom I've just looked up on linkedin and he seems to be doing well) from the credits of Pokemon Yellow and that game is about 15 years old. OP is good for it.

God no. I worked for 10+ years, and then completely burnt out. I once worked 45+ hours without sleep (or drugs!) to get a game (bugged as f***) out the door because Microprose needed it shipped before the end of a quarter.

Now I just play games - got a PS4 for Xmas Smiley
