A 100% premined coin.

Anyone know if it is possible to make such a coin?

The blockchain would be kept busy by lots of small transactions.

But no mining at all. Would that make it unfeasible?

100% possible & successful with ultra professional approach. Good examples: XRP (Ripple) and NXT (Next Coin).

Agree, premined or no premined and scam or not scam it will all depend on how you market/promote the coin in order to become successful.

100% Premined works as a pure PoS currency, but to make any money from it people need to be trading it and spending it. Trading it alone does not work in the long term, as it is then only as strong as the confidence of the market.

Interesting, I had an idea for a coin, but it needs to be 100% premined.

I have no intention of selling it, it would be given away (and not in Ripple fashion)

I can't make coins anyway, but I might get this one made for me (preferably for hardly any outlay)

I have a similar idea for making a coin used for marketing.

Who will mine the blocks? That's one of the things you need to consider
