Hey, so I got ahold of Denise Howell (host of This Week in Law) on Twitter today (@Dhowell).  The show is heard by thousands of attorneys worldwide every Friday.  (Be warned, the show is a little on the dry side for most people.)   Here was the exchange:

Fencefinder Spencer:  @DHowell Consider looking at Bitcoin, the crypto currency, on TWiL. Steve Gibson covered it on Security Now 287. www.bitcoin.org 5 Mar
dhowell Denise Howell: @Fencefinder Thanks, will do. 15 hours ago

It might just be a 2 minute blurb, but I'm sure they'll raise some good points and put Bitcoin in the context of relevant laws.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Did they actually say they're going to cover it? Sounds to me like just a polite way of saying "I got your message".

Selling out to advertisers shows you respect neither yourself nor the rest of us.

I may have jumped the gun.  If any forumers have a twitter account, wouldn't hurt to ping @DHowell.

Gah, I spoke with Amy Goodman of Democracy Now when she was in Milwaukee, WI and suggested similarly to her, "to check out bitcoin" and she responded with "okay."  However, I wonder whether or not she will "check it out."

So, Denise Howell, host of TWiL got back with me and apologized for not getting to Bitcoin. She said she's going to get to it soon. Full twitter exchange on www.bitcoinbulletin.com

This is so cool!  People actually talk with you on twitter
