Hi,

I wanted to post a couple of works in progress.

I received word that Titcoin is going to be added to PayServices.com thanks to our friends over at BitCentavo. I haven't fully explored their merchant offerings yet, but this looks like something that will give merchants more options to integrate Titcoin into their payment platform (including offline Point of Sales proessing). July 1st is when they said it would be tentatively added, but that's just a ballpark. I'll make a more formal announcement when I get a confirmation.

Second, our conversation with Nick Guccione (aka Penthouse Magazine) has started up again. Long story short, he's interested in developing an adult coin for his lines of business, and asked us to help him. In exchange, he's going to pair and accept Titcoin on his various eZine platforms. In addition, we will be getting a share of their premine which we will be offering back to the Titcoin community either as an exchange or giveaway. This is all preliminary as we hammer out the details.

Latest update.

A new dominatrix has started to accept Titcoin for her services. What is most promising is that she is in the process of developing her own crypto-cam website with 10 models already signed up... who plan to accept Titcoins. What we should point out is she reached out directly to us instead of us contacting her. This is an example of how well-known Titcoin is in the adult industry, and we should continue to receive inquiries like this in the future.

To dispel any rumors, we are NOT going to be delisted from CoinPayments payment processing. They will be making an announcement within the next few days to confirm that we are still part of their crypto payment processing services.

I finally spoke to the GuccioneCoin team about our future partnership. Long story short, they will be giving us a portion of their pre-mine which we will be distributing back to the Titcoin community in some fashion. More details to come on how much and how it will be distributed.

Here's an update since my last post.
 
Check out PayServices.com. They had a bit of a hiccup over the summer due to the Greece Euro crisis.  However, today Titcoin has been added to their platform. They are well funded and have big ambitions to develop the next generation crypto / multi monetary payment processing platform. This is yet another example of our efforts to simplify Titcoin acceptance and increase adoption.

The GuccioneCoin partnership is still in place. If you recall, we met with Nick Guccione personally last year to discuss his coin and future plans. He's trying to launch a new high end erotica magazine and he now has a reality show pilot tentatively scheduled to air in December. Here's some more information about PayServices.

One of their primary services is multi-currency banking where you can store over 150+ different currencies with a single account. This includes 130 different fiat currencies (e.g. US Dollar, Euro, Yen, Yuan, Pesos) and 20 different cryptocurrencies (e.g. Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Litecoin, Titcoin). Just letting the community know that we're in the process of re-connecting with all of our contacts again. The Bitcoin market has been getting a lot of positive buzz lately so it appears the market will be turning towards upwards again. More specifically, major financial institutions are looking into Blockchain technology which will naturally have a positive halo effect on the overall cryptocurrency markets. Naturally, this isn't an overnight thing, but it is a sign that crypto isn't dead and will become more widely adopted as we all anticipated years ago.

A couple of new leads to announce. We finally got xHamster interested in us. In case you're not familiar, they're one of the biggest free porn sites out there rivaling PornHub. Here's a Tweet as proof:

We have a discussion with them scheduled for this Wednesday. In light of the current Bitcoin controversy, our recommendation to them is to accept Altcoins in addition to Bitcoin. If you're not aware, Bitcoin has a scaleability issue (as we've always known) that their community is trying to solve with a forthcoming (and disputable) hard fork. The problem they're trying to solve is the limit on the number of transactions that can be processed per 10 minute block. Another competing solution is to create something called a Sidechain. The result of this scaleability problem is that as Bitcoin grows, the delay in transaction times will continue to increase making Bitcoin pretty much useless as a transactional currency.

It's our opinion that they're trying to solve a problem that doesn't need to be solved. Increasing the block size is not a long term solution since they will continue to run into the same problem year over year since it's impossible to predict future growth and adoption. There are also a ton of other problems with this solution which you can easily Google for more information. As for the Sidechain solution, that already exists today and it's called Altcoins.

A more logical solution which doesn't require a Bitcoin fork at all is to organically allow Altcoin Blockchains to bear the heavy burden of micro transactions, while utilizing Bitcoin to process bulk settlements and to serve as a storage medium. A consumer can make a bulk purchase of Bitcoins, and subsequently convert into various Altcoins for rapid merchant payments. A merchant can accept Altcoins which automatically gets converted into Bitcoins, and subsequently make a bulk settlement to convert into $US dollars. All of these conversions can happen behind the scenes which is why we've mentioned multiple times that the ultimate 'killer app' for crypto would be some type of multi-currency 'bank' where you can store an infinite number of currencies (e.g. fiat, crypto, points), and easily convert/transfer from one to the other for specific purchases. This is also why we're excited about our adoption into the PayServices platform which is exactly what they are trying to do.

In any case, we hope that xHamster will see the benefits of accepting Altcoin which will not only benefit us, but also other Altcoins. This is just a discussion we're having with them this week and not a formal commitment so I don't want people to get their hopes up just yet. Wish us luck and fingers crossed.

A few months ago we were approached by a nightclub in Amsterdam to help promote a breast cancer awareness event. A few months went by and we hadn't heard back until yesterday. They are going forward with this and have already started promoting the event in the Dutch media. Today the Dutch newsfeed is exploding with Titcoin mentions, and unfortunately we're not able to easily translate everything.

I was wondering if any Dutch speakers could do a quick scan of Titcoin mentioned articles, and perhaps give us an idea whether the news is positive or negative (with links to the articles you come across)?

Hi, just read the article below, it states that the owner of a bar in Amsterdam plans to start accepting women breast pics for beer in november.
If a woman lets her boobies be photographed, the owner uploads the photo to titcoin (it really says this in the article, which is kind of weird, as the orignal titcoin promo vid mentioned an app that uploaded the pic to pornhub)
and in return gets 1 titcoin.

I'm afraid the owner and the journalists failed to see that the pornhub promo was meant as a joke.

Here's the latest update. I spoke with the bar again this morning and they are still moving forward. They're actually pretty excited about it and are doing a pretty good job of getting Dutch press coverage including Dutch Esquire Magazine. Hopefully some of this will spill over into some mainstream English publications which I can see happening.

There was one negative article that came out by Dutch Vice Magazine which basically claimed all of this was a hoax because of the fake PornHub video that came out last year. Naturally, other publications picked that up and ran the same story. This is resulting in a lot of "Titcoin is fake" posts on Twitter now which is unfortunate.

I'm doing some damage control to remind everyone that Titcoin is real. Also, the writer of the Vice article contacted me this morning for clarification and I really gave her a piece of my mind. Hopefully she'll modify the article or at least publish a clarification that Titcoin is real.

But the good news is regardless of the publicity (good or bad), it has had a direct impact on raising awareness of Titcoin as seen in our traffic numbers. Yesterday alone, we had over 50,000 visitors to our website in one day alone which means people are learning about us.

xHamster is still thinking about it. Mainly they have a lot of different internal projects their working on so they are assessing whether this is a business priority for them to assume the development costs. This has been the type of response we usually get from businesses. But at least it's on their radar, and if their dev resources free up some time, it would be a very easy thing to implement on their site. We'll keep checking in with them to see how things go since this is a pretty good lead that we have.

In other events, it appears the news has spread from Holland and now to Poland and Hungary media. I'm basing this on the the languages I'm starting to see in our newsfeed.

As a result, we've received 2 new inquiries yesterday. One is a European based escort service with several dozen different websites that want to accept Titcoin. Another is a bar in Hungary that wants to do the same event as the one in Amsterdam. If more bars inquire, we could possibly look into having a formal Titcoin Day. That would be interesting.
