It appears news has reached Finland now. In any case, I don't expect this publicity to be ongoing over the next few weeks since this event is tentatively scheduled for the end of October or early November. It might pick up the closer to the date. I did push out a Press Release here in the United States on Friday so it's only a guess if any American media will pick it up. They usually don't look at PR over the weekend so hopefully tomorrow morning we'll get a mention somewhere. We also got another bar interested for a total of 3. This could very well turn into a Titcoin day with participating bars from around the world accepting Tits for Beer. We need to work with the Amsterdam bar to see if that sounds like a good idea to them. If so, we'll get planning on a Titcoin day which can get more bars involved to hold a charity event for breast cancer. I try not to work over the weekends as I used to all last year. But I did have some urgent emails to write today. I just sent off an email to the new bars that contacted us. More importantly I responded to the escort company that contacted us. They're basically creating a network of escort sites each with different niches (about 100 different websites). Naturally, the whole Ashley Madison hack seems to convince these businesses that it would be in their best interest to find ways for their customers to pay more anonymously. This seems like a pretty good lead so hopefully this will turn into some. And sadly, I still haven't heard back from xHamster yet. If anyone wants to help give them a nudge, feel free to vote and add a comment to our request on their site at: http://suggestions.xhamster.com/forums/59059-general/suggestions/7016455-accept-titcoin-payments-in-addition-to-bitcoinHope everyone is having a good weekend.

Thanks for the support.
No news to report today... except for a Polish magazine emailing me asking questions for an article their writing. It seems Titcoin is getting a lot of publicity over in Europe. As I mentioned earlier, the news will most likely start to die down over the next few weeks. However, the Amsterdam bar is still going forward with their event towards the end of October or early November. This means that although news will start dying down now, it will most likely kick back up again before their event. Once I find out the exact date, I'll post it here. And if you happen to be in Amsterdam, feel free to swing by the bar.
And yes... they want to also accept Titcoin payments at the bar. I know this is possible through CoinPayments since they have a PoS (point of sales) tool. We don't currently have instructions for setting that up, so I'll have to find someone to write it up for them.
It doesn't look like any American news publications picked up the articles from last week. I'm not super surprised since this is primarily a local Amsterdam event. But I do have a feeling that as the event date approaches, the buzz might reach the ears of a few writers over here who might end up writing a humor piece about the whole thing. If that happens, you can be sure news will explode in the US. That's just speculation of course based on past history.
I also haven't heard back from the 3 people who emailed us last week. I think what I'm going to start doing over the next few weeks is to do a big followup with every business that has contacted us over the last year (there's at least a hundred) just to see how they're doing and to see if we can help them set things up. I think most of them contact us on a whim because they read about us somewhere, but then got distracted with other businesses activities and simply forgot. So that's my to-do list for now.
Lastly, our price has been on the rise over the past week. I attribute this to a new audience of investors from Europe due to all the news there. Even more important, the price increase has been on a steady rise and not a one-day spike (although if you look at the market today it does look like someone or some people are trying to set up a pump tonight). A steady rise means that more investors are entering the market and holding onto their Titcoins. Price spikes mean opportunists are looking for a quick buck before jumping out. This is why I like the steady rise and am typically against any artificial pumping. I'm also realistic that this steady rise is still based on speculation over last week's news which will probably die down for at least several weeks.
Whether the price holds at around today's level is still a question. But if long-term investors are the reason for the price rise, it means that there's a lot of support in the market to keep the prices at near current levels. In any case, we know what the market value of Titcoin has been over the last 3-4 months. I can safely assume that it will be difficult for Titcoin to trade below 100 satoshis... and here's why:
I can probably account for approximately 1/3 of all issued Titcoins based on the holdings of several of our high stakes investors, partners we've already distributed Titcoins to, and our own holdings. So realistically, there's probably only 20 million Titcoins in circulation (or on the exchanges) at the moment. Plus, we've infused several BTC into the market at the lower end to make sure the price doesn't go below 100 satoshis. In fact, we have buy orders for around 5 million Titcoins in total across the various exchanges. And we have some BTC in reserve in case of emergency to support the price. Naturally, if the market decides to dump all of its Titcoins, we won't be able to stop that. However, I believe that's only a remote possibility, and we've infused enough BTC into the market to keep the prices steady at a minimum price of where it's been hovering over the last half year.
I'm glad to see the increased support in the market, and if you've made a few extra bucks over the last week I'm happy for you guys, too. I just want to remind everyone that we don't get involved with pumping our coin, and our only involvement in the market is to ensure a floor price based with our own funds.
I almost forgot one more thing, I was talking to my partners about kicking off some more giveaways over the coming months. We're trying to come up with something clever and fun besides the standard Titcoin giveaways. However, we have an idea for something we're planning for next February. It'll be a contest where the possible giveaway to one lucky person could be over a million Titcoins. We're still working out some of the details, but it'll give everyone something to look forward to... and it'll be fun.

You're planning on giving away 1/69 of the supply? Hm.
You'll see what we have planned in January or February. We're thinking of a big 1 Million Titcoin prize based around an event. Naturally there will be some rules in order to be eligible for the grand prize, etc. And if someone is lucky enough to win the grand prize, we'll likely distribute the Titcoins in increments over a period of time (such as 100k per month over 10 months). That way it doesn't get all dumped onto the market all at once. As I mentioned earlier, we're still fine tuning the details. On a side note, it appears that xHamster has formally responded to our request and that "It's being discussed with the Product team". See: http://suggestions.xhamster.com/forums/59059-general/suggestions/7016455-accept-titcoin-payments-in-addition-to-bitcoinThat's a good sign. If they flat out did not want to consider Titcoin, they would probably just say so or ignore it. There's also been a lot of activity on the exchanges over the last few days. I originally thought it was a pump because of the significant price increase, but looking at the charts, it looks like someone or some group is slowly accumulating Titcoins. I'm not exactly sure why but it does show some level of confidence among new or existing investors. I'll post more news as soon as I get them.

It does appear over the weekend there was a bit of a sell-off. Fortunately there's some resistance at the current price level so it should be a bit more stable. If you look at our history, any time there's some bit of news, the speculators jump in and create some major volume. Titcoin is pretty much a wait and see coin with occasional opportunities to capitalize on the volume. And as I mentioned earlier, we have several BTCs sitting on the Buy side to create strong resistance towards the 100-120 Satoshi range to prevent it from going lower than that.

Hi. In case you haven't noticed... xHamster posted something on their forum specifically asking to talk to me after their evaluation. That is certainly good news. If they decided to reject Titcoin, they wouldn't ask for my email address to continue talking. Which is weird because they already have my email address. In any case, I'll let the community know when they reach out and how the discussion goes. But it is good news. Here's the original thread: http://suggestions.xhamster.com/forums/59059-general/suggestions/7016455-accept-titcoin-payments-in-addition-to-bitcoinIf you can... please add your vote. We proposed to them that they should consider a multicurrency payment processor in addition to Bitcoin. This could help many other Altcoins which benefits all of us at the end of the day. Fingers crossed this will finally come to fruition.

It looks like we have some new mining pools which is good news. Just a heads up... I received an email from xHamster before the weekend asking for more information on how to implement Titcoin payments. Things do look promising but as always we won't celebrate until it actually happens. I'm planning to respond to them with instructions for setting up checkout via CoinPayments. So what this also means is that any other crypto on their platform can also benefit once they set everything up. So... if you're also a fan of other cryptocurrencies on CoinPayments, please keep putting pressure on xHamster by voting and commenting on this: http://suggestions.xhamster.com/forums/59059-general/suggestions/7016455-accept-titcoin-payments-in-addition-to-bitcoinThis is a big opportunity for all of us regardless of whether you're a Titcoin fan or not. Lastly, another webcam model looks to be accepting Titcoin soon.

Update on the xHamster email from last week... I sent them a response with more details on how to integrate Titcoin, and I also put together the following presentation for them: http://www.slideshare.net/EdwardMansfield2/altcoin-payment-processingFeel free to share this slideshare presentation and post it in other forum threads. It's pretty agnostic so it shouldn't offend the community, and might be a good starting point for discussion with businesses. Now I'm just going to sit back and wait for xHamster to respond again. Hopefully their next response will be an affirmative on setting up Titcoin payments. Fingers crossed.

Since the community is always eager for new information, I just wanted to post an example of a common email that we regularly receive. This one I received this morning and responded a few hours ago. Enjoy! Hi Robert, Thanks for getting in touch with us. I'm one of the co-creators of Titcoin, and I'd be more than happy to answer any of your questions. For starters, although we created Titcoin, it's an open-source currency that we no longer manage nor own because of its decentralized characteristics. But that's precisely the beauty of Titcoin as an adult currency because there's no way to regulate its usage which means any adult business can use it without restrictions. As you can imagine, business adoption has been very slow because of the overall reluctance to experiment with cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Titcoin. We're still looking for a major adult business to serve as our flagship partner but you can see a list of existing businesses and entertainers who accept Titcoin payments/donations at: http://www.titcoins.biz/partners/You also asked about an affiliate program. Titcoin itself doesn't have an affiliate mechanism due to it's anonymous and decentralized nature. However, 3rd party payment processors and clearing houses do have referral programs that you could take advantage of. What we've been recommending to adult businesses (especially to those that already accept Bitcoin) is to utilize a multi-currency payment processor that accepts Titcoin and several dozen other cryptocurrencies. This way you're covering your bases with non-Bitcoin users and increasing your audience of potential customers. Here's a Slideshare document I created recently which explains this benefit: http://www.slideshare.net/EdwardMansfield2/altcoin-payment-processingThe mechanics for setting this up is pretty simple and the checkout process almost works exactly like PayPal which I assume you're already familiar with. We've created several step-by-step tutorials for getting started: 1) Creating a Titcoin account (via Cryptsy) http://www.titcoins.biz/faq-contact-us/titcoin-guide-how-do-you-create-an-online-titcoin-wallet/2) Accepting Titcoin payments (via CoinPayments) http://www.titcoins.biz/faq-contact-us/titcoin-guide-how-do-you-accept-titcoin-payments-using-coinpayments/Note: Both of the services above have referral programs that allow you to earn additional revenue. In addition, we do offer a one-time commission to businesses and partners on a case-by-case basis. This would essentially entail a large lump sum payment of Titcoins as a Thank You for joining our partnership. Since the total number of Titcoins is a fixed quantity, you can consider yourself a percentage shareholder in the future success of Titcoin. Please let me know if this is something you're still interested in. I'd love to chat with you further. Talk soon. edward Edward Mansfield Co-Founder Titcoin Digital Currency edward@titcoins.biz1: http://www.titcoins.biz2: http://twitter.com/OfficialTitcoin3: http://wikipedia.org/wiki/Titcoin"Titcoin is the Bitcoin for Porn" - Gizmodo On Sat, Oct 17, 2015 at 11:25 AM, Robert xxxxxxxx < xxxxxxx@xxxxxxxx.com> wrote: To: All Other Inquiries Name: Robert xxxxxxxxx Email Address: xxxxxxx@xxxxxxxx.comMessage: We have an adult oriented website that has a pretty good following of adult sex workers, and we think Titcoin could be good for us and our customers considering we just lost our Visa/MasterCard processing abilities. Since the Visa/MC embargo on certain adults sites is a nationwide trend, we think this is a potential benefit for Titcoin as an alternative payment solution. Is Titcoin currently out there and being used presently by any prominent adult industry websites. Seems that level of endorsement would be necessary to set the trend, assist it's adoption by instilling confidence in the adult community and its customers. If so what companies or websites, if you don't mind me asking. Is there a referral program or an affiliate program in place to possibly incentivize adult websites, adult models, porn stars, sex workers, and their customers... into accepting and promoting Titcoin? Since we deal mainly with escorts and their customers, there are plenty of Mavens and Yentas who would gladly make this go viral if Titcoin is ready to go.
