Yifu Guo The Bitcoin Show in Mandarin and http://BitcoinNavigator.com

Darrell Duane http://BitcoinBonus.com

Steven Wagner http://HowManyCoins.com

Jared Ostmeyer http://SearchBitcoin.com and so much more.  He is the man.

Deserved it's own thread to not get drowned out with whatever is going on in OnlyOneTV thread.

I'm sorry, I can't see the elephant your talking about. There appears to be a large hairy ape in there, too.

Oh,. wait, I see it now, it was hiding behind the Brontosaurus.

Bitcoin: An Idea Worth Spending

If I was doing a show on Bitcoin, I wouldn't have searched Google News for the keyword Bitcoin either. Why would I waste 10-15 minutes reading about Bitcoin in the news from the web prior to doing my show. Besides, the latest Bitcoin news would not even be on the top if I did do a Google search. We all know that Google buries the latest news so that you can't find it. I just remembered something. Bruce is in Japan. I'm not to familiar with Japan so perhaps they don't have the internet there yet.

Yifu has told me that this will be a weekly thing, a Panel discussion that will run with guests talking about Bitcoins in general, and to be honest it's nice that there was no agenda so things like the mining old bitcoin concept which according to him it's the best thing that came out of the chat.

That seems like a pretty good change of format. Much more sensible than letting viewers ask questions live like previously. Considering the amount of questions he answered before I am pretty sure that there are no more questions that the viewers could possibly want Bruce to answer live.

Yeah, to be honest, Bruce works best as his job, a Show Host; he's knowledge is rather really limited. he just happens a lot of connections, which is good, and he tells the public about all the things he hears about. and you'll have to take it with a grain of salt, but again a lot of things he knows is not even out yet, so some Hype is justified, and the Bitcoin Navigator can vouch for some of it. e.g. behind the Conference -http://bitcoinnavigator.com/2011/08/bitcoin-conference-day-1/

our internal joke name for him is "Hypeman".

I think he did a really good job. For Bruce. At least he is showing his face, to a degree.
That tells me a few things. He's either a super brave felonious misfit or he's sincerely taken on a new direction and path in life, because bitcoin attracts those kinds super brave felonious misfits.

But I think we can all do better with someone else doing this, and being more proactive with less controversy.

Yeah, despite the fact you are quite likely thoroughly insane, you make a good point about him not being at all appropriate to be doing this anymore.

In a world in insane people who call the themselves, "sane", I am truly "insane".
Thanks!

I thought this was a good episode, I liked the no-agenda freeform discussion format.  It reminded me of the 'This Week in Startups' show on bitcoin that featured a sort of open discussion with  Gavin Andresen and Amir Taaki

No problem at all. Now, would you consider your childhood to have been happy?

My parents baked me a cake each time I kicked your ass and threw sand in your face at school. So, yeah, I was happy as a child.
