Help tweaking my 2 7970s

I am all setup to mine, accepted i noticed for having 2 7970s, that 400kh/s was very low. Can someone help me figure how to get the most out of these cards? Both are watercooled and are 1275/1800 stable in BF4.

1: can I Overclock voltage/mem volt using Trixx, or will the core/mem speeds in the notepad file override what Trixx has, and just  cause errors?

2:Should I disable Crossfire? Running Windows 8

3: When I increase Thread Currency, it wont run right, or if I go over 13 intensity.

4: Is Mem or Core more important to keep higher?


Please help me get these bad boys at their peak performance!

I can answer one question - you will get a lower hashrate using crossfire than you will managing the two cards independently.

Why if I change Thread Intensity or a Thread Currency does it not work tho? I cannot go above 9000 TC and 13 Intensity, even at low mem/core clocks

There are literally hundreds of internet blogs and message board posts on tweaking 7970's not to mention the lite coin comparison guide to scrypt  mining GPU's.
