Ok guys, now I want to know more about the initial distribution.
So everything I need is to tell the UNIQUE Raspberry Pi serial number but is there a limit to the number of Raspberry I can register for PiNX ?
Tell me so I won't buy too many of them.
Also, we can exchange the coin with anyone ? No need of Raspberry right ?

It is a really cool idea to promote power efficient computer. I love it.

Get your rasp pi's before the vendors start jacking up the prices.  Like the GPU's.

Yes, there is a limit to the number of Raspberry Pi you can register -- one.  See https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=424202.msg4628420#msg4628420

Time will tell for exchange with non-Raspberry Pi holders.  Theoretically, the client software will run on any computer which supports Java, however the official distribution will only support Raspberry Pi.

EDIT: One Raspberry Pi to one Bitcointalk account will be the method for acquiring stake in initial distribution

how many yummie do we get?

Mmm, yummies -- I like it!  Name reserved for fractional denominations.  (0.0001 PiNX == 1 Yummie, or something like that Cheesy)

The amount each individual will get is dependent on the number of stakeholders who sign up during the registration period, which runs from February 14th to March 23rd.

Your stake will equal:
1,000,000,000 / # of initial stakeholders.

The links you posted only differ in that one includes an SD card, and one does not.  The 512MB Model B hardware is the one you want.

If you're just getting started with the Raspberry Pi, I recommend checking out 'Starter Kit' bundles.  Usually a starter kit will include, at minimum: Raspberry Pi, power adapter, SD card and case.  Some starter kits may include more.

You will also need an ethernet cable, USB keyboard and mouse, monitor, and cable for monitor (HDMA or RCA video)

Some places you can pick up a starter kit:
(these links do not represent endorsement, just examples to get you pointed in the right direction)

Hope this helps!

EDIT: Starter kit bundles usually include a Raspberry Pi, too Cheesy

Just one per person, please.

See https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=424202.msg4628420#msg4628420

I wish to make it VERY CLEAR:
Attempts to register multiple times will very likely be caught and you will be refused entry into genesis block.  Computer systems, networks, and peripherals contain many 'fingerprints', which will be used for taint detection.

Please respect the goal for equitable distribution.

Note: The PiNX user gets ZERO share.  Why?  This is a sock puppet.  My main account will get the same share as everyone else.

EDIT: One Raspberry Pi to one Bitcointalk account will be the method for acquiring stake in initial distribution

Step by step instructions would be great. I have no idea what to do after purchasing the starter kit. Or even when to do so
