I am loving my Tri-X OCs so far.  Easiest R9 290s I have tuned by far.

Straight out of the box, with no burn in, I have 4x Sapphire R9 290 Tri-X OC running at 945KH/s, 945KH/s, 945KH/s, and 927KH/s.

The 927KH/s card crashes at 1499 memclock, so I bumped it down to 1250.  Hopefully the 4th card will take the memory overclock after some burn in.

Hey, I realize this is offtopic but quick question. I realize the .conf file is JSON and I understand how to configure it, but how do I pass it to sgminer once created?

Mine is getting 180 kH for some reason, any ideas? Have Win7 64 bit, beta 14.1 driver, 2.9 SDK, power settings good, cgminer 3.3.1, tried all the tc's 32765, 24550, 25601. The curious thing is GPU Caps Viewer says the VDDC is 0 while it's running.

I own 8 rigs, so I have done this before. My reference MSI 290's get 830, but this card is strange. Anyone check if both BIOS are the same?

Thank you

I have Sapphire Tri-X R9 290 and they all "creme de la creme cards", hynix mem, dual bios, stable oc, they run  cool and provide high hashrate. Too bad GPU mining is heading to an exit....

This card is good but it is not profitable to buy any more. Read up and understand difficulty...

Also, it's still quite profitable if you are mining nscrypt or X11.

But damn... what a necro

they suffer from bad optimization in comparison to 750ti, cudaminer is a fucking beast right now, it lets one 750ti match one 280x, unbelievable

Are you sure one 750ti is equal to one 280x? I though 280x is still faster like 50% at least..

they optimized even more their cuda for x11, now one 750ti is euqual to one 280x, pretty sad days for amd
