Hello bitcointalk !

I want to introduce a new company named TheTrollBox.

TheTrollBox is a small web development company that specializes in crypto currency applications\extensions.

Our first line of products are 15 Live Chrome Extension Tickers that presents the price of a given coin in real time.

We cover most of the popular exchanges (MtGox, BTC-e, Bitstamp, BTCChina, OkCoin, FXBTC, BitcoinAverage) and most of the popular coins (BTC, LTC, PPC, NMC, NVC, FTC, XPM).

More over, we can present the value of the coin in lots of FIAT currencies (USD, AUD, CAD, CHF, CNY, DKK, EUR, GBP, HKD, NZD, PLN, RUB, SGD, JPY, THB, NOK, CZK).

Stop with the F5, and free yourself to other tasks while receiving live updates about changes in the value of your coins.

Our projects source code are still not public but will be uploaded to github as an open source project in the near future.

For the meanwhile I argue all the sceptic and non believers to download our source code from the Chrome Store and check them manually, it can be easily done as explained here:

Thats weird ! Can you install other applications\extensions from the Chrome Store ?
Maybe the links I posted are not good, you can manually search for our extensions on the Chrome Store by searching the "TheTrollBox".

Just do what he says and examine all the source code first Wink ..... like anyone is going to do that just to run something that displays coin prices. I can go to any website to do that and not risk having my system infected.

Maybe a stupid question, but if something is in the google chrome store shouldn't/isn't it deemed safe to use ?  Not sure what the requirements are to get in the chrome store but I can't imagine there isn't some sort of review by google first.  Right?

On a side note, I was just looking at the chrome store and I've ended up switching my chrome theme to a bitcoin theme... I'm such a dork Smiley

I will not try and convince you to trust our company, its your choice  Smiley
The reason I have 4 posts in this forum is because I am not a regular member here, and we are publishing our extensions on
all the major bitcoin fourms.

The fact that I am not reguallry posting in bitcointalk.org, doesnt mean my first 100 posts cant be trusted.

The reason our source is still not published is mostly because we want to cover all the legal aspects of open source projects (License ..).
But, I would be more than happy sending a personal copy of the source to whom ever wants, just P.M me  Smiley

Don't use any Chrome extentions
https://encosia.com/malware-chrome-extensions-inevitable/
https://www.schneier.com/blog/archives/2014/01/adware_vendors.html
Quote
To make matters worse, ownership of a Chrome extension can be transferred to another party, and users are never informed when an ownership change happens. Malware and adware vendors have caught wind of this and have started showing up at the doors of extension authors, looking to buy their extensions. Once the deal is done and the ownership of the extension is transferred, the new owners can issue an ad-filled update over Chrome's update service, which sends the adware out to every user of that extension.
