Okay, I have got a idea, so we AVOID all the issues between the ''coinye'' community & to avoid law restrictions.
In the C&D paper which was posted online, you can see that the names : " COINYE, COYE " Are flagged. It means that ANY exchange which accepts it, will be contacted to remove the coin from their exchange.
I came with the idea, to change the name of the coin.
Instead of naming it "CoinYE", we could call it ''CoinYES" ( If you're not Einstein, you will see that the difference is only 1 letter, "S" letter.)
So, the short name for the coin would be "CYES".
No no's are:
1) COINYE 2) COYE 3) KOIN ( It's retarded. Sorry for the expression, but it is, for real.) 4) CYES Sounds much better, looks much better. It would be known in less that one week that the original name was changed by more than 70% of the community.
So, vote with your logic and please leave a comment if you disagree and why.
Thank You everyone for your time and sorry for any trouble caused.
Coinye

Associating a digital currency with garbage was a mistake anyway. So lets get this over with and not clutter up bitcointalk forum with garbage anymore.
Do we really need a new thread about this dead in the water coin? No one likes it and it will never be the new DOGE.

1 coinye, 2 coinyes. Rebranding to COINYES is useless.

Hit up Snoop. His new album is going to accept BTC. Tell him you are rebranding and would like to honor him with a coin in his honor. He could offer a discount if someone buys in DigitalSnoop

Clever idea ^^ Voted KOIN in the poll, it's catching on. Who cares what it sounds like? I mean we are voting for abbreviations for possible exchanges, not the client. No one complains about not being able to pronounce, "btc" If you really want a client name change... It is true coinyes rolls off the tongue, but it is terrible to make plural. Coinyes' ?! Coinyeszis? 12 other possibilities: COY, CYE, COI, CIN, CNE, COINE, and all of those with a K instead (for example KOY)

What about leaving one letter out? Like this:
Conye, with the shortcut CYE
It is different. No lawsuit risk. Looks better. Pronuoncable better.
