I'm mining with GIGABYTE G1.Sniper 5 motherboards using GIGABYTE 7950's and R9 280X's.

MB expansion slot spec:
2 x PCI Express x16 slots, running at x16
2 x PCI Express x16 slots, running at x8
3 x PCI Express x1 slots

Planning to run 6 GPUs per motherboard.

Ordered PCI-E 16X Riser Card Extenders from China but I can't get them to work?
GPU on riser either not detected or extremely unstable if detected.

Thinking that it may be faulty riser extender cables?

Anyone successfully mining with this motherboard using risers?

Any advice will be appreciated!
