The project is back on track and everything is looking better than could be expected for DopeCoin 2.0

Additional DDOS protection has been purchased along with all new server packages. A new development team has been hired and confidence has been restored in all areas of the technical side of the project.

As we finalize the project the question has been raised with respects to a small premine to help cover some of the current upgrades and future development costs. The number that was suggested was a small premine of 0.5% which would be used to push the DopeCoin agenda forward and to provide bountys and giveaways.

Before making any kind of decision like this I felt it was prudent to ask the community and let them decide. If it's out of the question, please voice your opinion. I personally like the idea of a premine as it is quite expensive to bring a high level product like this to market, however I was willing to wave the idea of a premine in hopes of building a generous community that would help contribute with the project.

Ultimately I leave the decision up to you, the people. The majority consensus on this matter will decide the outcome. Please let us know what you think.

Either make the official pool with 3% fee like before or premine 0.1%. Because 0.5% is just too much. Oh and if you are going to premine, include it in the genesis block instead of mining hundreds of blocks before the start. This way you won't ruin the starting difficulty for miners.

I created a Stories STY p2pool and was the FIRST pool for their coin, & collected huge bounty.
the p2pool hashrate was almost 4Ths and finding literally almost every block in a row.

All those SIGN UP MINING POOLS kept posting ADS in forums using
BIG TEXT
begging for miners.

The STY p2pool was port attacked after being online 8hrs, and ended up losing miners
to those sign-up pools  --- but NONE of the other p2pool coins were attacked --
just that 1 new pool -- so connect the dots!  Only a competitior pool would have
motive to DDOS attack the most successful pool to steal its miners!

the STY P2POOL paid out over 1,000,000 STY before attacked --- over 1 Million coins.

So if DDOS happens on re-launch day --- its POOL WARS -- pools attacking rival pools
to get miners.  That behavior is so f_cking sad.

The DOPE p2pool will be using a different PORT and IP address, and will be
revealed at relaunch, because it is suspected some pool will attempt to DDOS
attack the DOPE p2pool

THERE ARE PLENTY OF MINERS WHO WILL MINE THIS COIN, ENOUGH MINERS FOR ALL POOLS.

0.5% premine is fine by me. Just be transparent about it with a public ledger of current coins held and where all them have went, ie to promotions, giveaways etc. and don't dump the second it hits an exchange.

So tell me, what`s wrong with my calculation? The only thing you could complain is the lifespan of the Coin. So okay maybe its only 4 month, would make a premine of 20%

the default SELL rate is always DUST and in favor of the scamming traders.
