Will the psu handle it?

Hm, so what rate you think i will get with this setup each card undervolted? :S

I don't know since I do not own them. My guess is probably 700+KHs a card undervolted if it is configured properly.

Undervolting as mentioned above is a must.

280x's get near 300w in a hurry @ stock volts of 1.2v.  The 7970 GHZ Ed @ 1.256v was a bonafied 300w card.

To accomplish putting 4 of those 280x's on that 1200w unit, you would most likely need to get volts down to 1.1 or under.
