What happens if your pc/laptop with your multibit wallet is stolen? Does that mean you have lost your bitcoins? What can you do about it?

Secure ur wallet with a passphrase then upload the wallet file on something like dropbox or google drive

IF you dont have backups of those wallets, which you can quickly access and drain to new accounts, I would go ahead and say you have lost the wallets. The BTC may stay there because the person who stole it might not get into the wallets, but without backups your out.
