There is a fork on github and has been modified already, yes.

For some strange reason, the wallet file is named "dat.wallet" instead of wallet.dat.

Well this is in the main.cpp:

So its still bitcoin but my guess is there will be cosbycoin out soon. Not sure if Bill Cosby will approve of it though.
