I know that I'm probably not the first person to ask, but I want to answer the age old question myself: What is the most popular of the alt-coins?

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Took it off and replaced it with klondikecoin

I really love Namecoin, and have high hopes for it, but I voted Dogecoin because it's just so damn cute and fun. It's my fav. Too much fun!

I am becoming increasingly negative on all alts now that any idiot can pump one out.
I like primecoin, but mining is near pointless. LTC is faster than BTC but slow compared to almost all new coins. Almost all new coins are scams, rubbish or gimmicks.
We will see if someone comes up with something that could rival BTC. If they do it will be clones 1000 times, so maybe they shouldn't make it open source too quickly.

I think I am on the same page with you. WorldCoin is a such coin that can challenge BTC. Scharmbeck is doing well as far as I heard, it will be a game-changer and it will be possible for shops to easily accept WDC thanks to Scharmbeck. The developers predict the coin will be valued to its fair value (0.077 BTC) so anyone investing the coin now any significiant amount will be a millionaire if not billionaire within some time. I think now is excellent time to buy the coin. |
