I think that it lacks decent projects and ICOs; most of new ones are focused only on the beautiful image and collecting investors money.

There are just too many new projects. Amount of money stays the same but it has to be split in too many different projects zo everything goes down a bit. But in the end the best projects will survive.

main problem is cryptos are difficult to use in real life. if you have to pay someone with btc , first you have to register yourself in one big exchange than you have to pay some fee to buy btc , than its not so quick to send btc still slow even if you send it than reciever also have to make same process. so its hard to use for real life for now. but when big companies start to use btc as payment than cryptomarket will grow so much you cant believe. if amazon or alibaba accept btc as payment than no one can stop btc !!

It's not the big problem, the real big problem is the volatility. This makes the merchant should liquidate their bitcoin as fast as possible to avoid the possibility of getting lost due to the volatility of the bitcoin itself.
You can see that how some companies that accepted bitcoin have stated they must liquidate it just in some seconds.

All in above are the things that can be possible to happen because all of that is the problem in the market now. Market is so volatile now while whales have manipulation in the market. Security and regulations are maybe the one reasons too that's why the market is like this.

I think the major problem right now in cryptocurrency is the increasing number of fake projects and people just trying to scam the investors. I have been following menlo.one lately and they plan to tackle this problem by creating a community where incentives is given to valuable contents on each ICO on their platform.

The biggest problem is the investors’ response to the market crash. Not all but many of them due to incomplete knowledge or information sell during the red market thus contributing to the red market. Also the volatility has also caused a bit chaos in the market but this volatility in other sense is good for those who have not invested yet and want to invest low. But besides so many problems, the technology has great future and promises a lot.

Volatility is an effect of price manipulation. As we saw in December last year, price manipulation through tether pumped the price heavily and now we are going through a correction which is again highly manipulated and we witnessed a price drop of 66%. Price manipulation is again linked to regulations. If we had a centralized system like other monetary platforms, price manipulation and pump/dump won't be that usual in the market. I don't think security is much an issue here. In cryptos you are responsible for the security of your tokens. Use cold storage for the better security. Don't trust much on exchanges.

The biggest problem with the crypto market is the negative issue and the panic selling, so far that I see if there is a big country and also a big investor telling bad things on bitcoin then as the auto market will fall and that's what makes the panic selling happen.
