Hello,

I wanna start mining, but first i want to try it with my current laptop to see how it works instead of buying new PC.

So i'm having a HP (64bit) AMD Athlon II P320 Dual-Core Processor 2.10 GHz with a ATI Mobility Radeon HD4250.

(Yes i know i cant make any profit with this, but its just to test)

Am i able to do any mining with this laptop?

I already downloaded GUIminer and got some kind of "worker".

Is this the good software or do i need something else..?
And how much MHash can i produce with it using GPU and/or CPU..?

Can someone help me out with this..

I would try one of the many flavors of USB miners that are out there.  (I will refrain from telling you its not worth it.)
This would give you a chance to mine and figure out if BTC is for you.

Yeah you should be able to get something like a Bitfury for ~ $100 and then you can get the full experience without wrecking your laptop.

The easiest way for you to mine is cloud mining. They run their own hardware for you but you pay for it. Check out my description to see how Smiley

But AvalonMiner stated thats the easiest way to mine and he is right. Nothing beats it. You simply register > pay for your hashing power > watch your BTC flowing.

Even easier:  Tell me what hash rate you want and I'll quote you a price.  After say 30 days I'll tell you how much you overpaid by and just send that amount to me.  No signups and only one transaction required.
