I rarely if ever use the scroll wheel anyways. Page down gets you so much further.

My mouse's driver let me set the scrollwheels' (yes plural) ticks to be pageup/down, among other things, but i rather the regular scroll, often things don't get aligned in "pages" on websites and i have to correct a bit up or down if i use the pageup/down keys in order to see things whole, and for big scrolls i just use the "autoscroll" thing (usually the middle button, if it's not configured to do somthing other than inform programs of middle button press)
