Hallo Zusammen,

seit einigen Tagen bricht die LTC Difficulty ein.
Kennt irgendjemand einen Grund dafür?

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Die anderen Altcoins sind aktuell mind. doppelt so profitabel wie LTC

Denke auch das viele inzwischen auf Multipools umgestiegen statt auf starre LTC Pools.

Das erklärt nicht den aktuellen Drop, denn das war im Oktober.

Was die verdient haben:

- Scrypt Mining mit CPU kommt man auf durchschnittlich 10 KH/s
- Größe Botnet: 2 Mio Maschinen => Gesamtleistung: 20,000,000 KH/s also 20 GH/s
- 20 GH/s sind circa 5000 LTC am Tag, also um die $100.000 täglich

Tja, spätestens wenn die difficulty an einem Punkt angekommen ist, an dem es sich wieder lohnt wird sie steigen. Ich persönlich werde weiter LTC minen, andere Coins können etwas werden. Müssen sie aber nicht.
