The coins are officially dispersed.

The only ones remaining are the funds for the faucet and for the games.

Now comes the interesting part.

Please donate to 1NuD6pJjZnAoHzBPcoSM5dJTtP9TCV6725 for faucet on my personal VPS. It's moving along really nicely so far. For every 10 PMC I receive, I will pass on 5 PMC to 2 people in rates of 2.5. Of course, adding in 1% TX fee.

Thanks for the support!

Can we see the faucet in action?

I should have something more concrete posted up today for feedback on needs, etc. Once it is a little more stable, I will post here and on new forum.

Yes, it would be good to keep track of where we are at in "stages".

We need a coin-spread topic, with an incentive to spread coins.

I changed the word scrypt to sha256.

That now gives an error.

json_rpc_call failed

The wallet was running before I clicked the shortcut.

Also
{"code":-32601, "message":Method not found"}

Is there an example string anywhere to start the premined.exe?

I tried the following,

premined -a sha256 -t 4 -s 6 -o http://127.0.0.1:9335 -O premineusername:preminepassword

premined -t4 -o http://127.0.0.1:9335 -O premineusername:preminepassword

premined -o http://127.0.0.1:9335 -O premineusername:preminepassword

Mining only for TX fees, 0 incentive to hit the network with mass hashes.
(caveats: stales! lots of stales and rejects. Because the difficulty doesn't change much, the fastest rig, with the lowest latency wins 99% of the time. On the other hand, having the fastest rig is also a waste of good hashes.... hmmm conundrum...)

Because the coin is 100% pre-mined, we will be giving it away to people who want some. This is an experiment, so the more coins in actual circulation the better. Pass them along to whomever you wish. Update: All giveaway coins are distributed! The only ones remaining are the funds for the faucet and for the games.

Make sure you set your wallet to pay transaction fees!  That's the whole incentive for people to mine & confirm them.

Settings  >  Options  >  Main Tab

& set the transaction fee (recommend at least 0.01PMC)

ONLY 500,000 PMC will ever exist. If you chose to mine, you will be mining for TX fees only. If you don't like it, don't play - It's really simple!

it's not premined.exe! this is premine deamon!

you need minerd.exe (CPUMiner) or cgminer!

What are you mining with? You can mine with the wallet via CPU I believe if you set "gen = 1" in the conf file.

If you are using eruptors, you will need BFG miner and CGminer. I can provide bat file examples if you need them.

I need that client code!!!!!

ATTENTION: ByronP is the owner of atomic-trading and he needs a piece of code from the devs so that he can put PMC on his exchange, he doesn't want to have to "poll" the wallets as that is a waste of resources. Who is in charge of giving him what he wants so that we can get it listed?
